If he can break down Vettel that easily, speaks volumes for what Rosberg did a few years ago in the same car, and why he didn't want to do it again!
His decision to me makes more and more sense!!
I would agree with that.
Rosberg's mission was always to win a WDC. Mission accomplished, move on and stay in one piece for his family.

Smart play.

I just think he’s not very bright. And I say that as a Hamilton fan - I like him. I think he’s just a bit David beckham etc not the sharpest tool in the box. He has said a number of things that are a bit off yet I really don’t think he has any malice in him at all. Eg he mixed up something in the back room after a race recently I noticed. And his pic of a pig in a dumpster etc proving meat is murder. It just shows he’s not too bright
Pretty sure most on here would agree you're none-too-bright mate!

The irony is that, unlike in the past where not being all that bright was probably a positive advantage when putting your life on the line every weekend, to drive a modern F1 car properly you need a high level of intelligence as it's about understanding the tiny little nuances and multiple adjustments you can make to everything in the car lap after lap that give you those pole positions and race wins.

I think Lewis is very spoon fed.

He often asks rather odd questions on the radio when I listen, (which isn't very often) and seems to rely very heavily on advice from the team, whereas others are more spontaneous and make decisions themselves.

Nothing wrong with either, but it reflects his upbringing at McLaren i think, do what you are told.

That is literally opposite to the facts and there are a number of examples to the contrary from this most recent season alone.

The hilarious part about this is...

Have any of you ever lived there? I know people who have lived there all their life and have no desire to live anywhere else, same as places like Luton, Dover, Telford all the same sort of dumps people criticise when all they have done is drive past, visited or the like.

I have lived in some rough places admittedly, but St Evenage, is one of the better ones. look beyond the image for Gods sake.

And you know what now? it is getting expensive, why? Coz it is in perfect location to commute, NOT on the worlds worst road the M1, god train links, central. It might not look fabulous, the town centre is awful, but beyond that, honestly you would be surprised.
...and worked there! Every day! Not on the worlds worst road??? Ok then son, YOU try getting between Hitchen and Stevenage during morning or evening rush hour and tell me about the road! As for the A1M...hmmm!

And if we are competing for crap towns...Ive lived in Chatham and Blackpool ffs!!! Stevenage is a fking depressing hole.

I notice some no-knowledge people spouting about tax again. Hamilton (and ALL F1 drivers and other sports stars) pay tax where they earn it. Therefore Hamilton pays tax in 20+ countries, including the UK, it does not matter where they live. That is international tax law. I would not mind betting that Hamilton pays more tax in the UK than most people on this forum.

Before showing your inadequate knowledge, try learning a little about it? But then, I suppose, there would be no point to your rants.

Well of course it doesn’t and it never did. But I’m never going to miss a chance to slate Stevenage smile

First one is JUST coming to an end. That was without a doubt a season that will be made into a holllywod movie.
Lewis Hamiltons whole life will be made into a movie. True fairytale

There's only 2 racing drivers who's lives can be made into movies, Niki Lauda and Lewis Hamilton.

And Lewis’s life is not over yet. There could be more great racing and wacky clothes still to come.

The Lewis haters heads are going to explode biggrin

With Lewis they could comfortably make two, one as the antagonist and one as the protagonist hehe

Sorry, but as much as I admire Lewis there are plenty of others whose lives would make more interesting movies especially the guys from the 50s,60s and 70s such as Hill, Hawthorn, Fangio, Nuvolari, Moss, Von Tripps, Stewart, Hunt, Lauda, Clark, Rhindt etc.

And the here's the biggest of all... Schumacher.... the true story behind the scenes at Benetton and early days at Ferrari would be amazing viewing.

"I liked driving around in circles and it turned out I was quite good so my Dad paid for it. Then I got a tattoo, some hair transplants and some sparkly clothes from the Liberace store."

Roll end credits.

I realize you left some drivers out in the interest of brevity but surely we cannot forget John Surtees!

Not sure what movie you want to watch, but I’d rather concentrate on his racing exploits than the off track stuff.

It’s not like the hunt/ lauda movie concentrated on alcohol and gonorrhoea
