The Arrows auction was the same, first lots went for stupid money but by the time the rich kids had blown their cash it all got a lot more sensible.

I hope so, I've got my eyes on a couple of bits. Hard to add 30% in my head though.

I've heard various rumours as to where some stuff may have gone - how true they are I've no idea...

No worries, never hurts to ask wink
Pretty true it seems! Mentioning no names wink
I heard they were having a little "spring clean" a couple of days before they went into Administration wink

I have been as well - lost one item I was bidding on as the connection dropped.

Bid on a few items and bought one piece of artwork, and budget well and truly gone, just watching out of interest now to see what the cars go for..

Seem a very amateur set up, not sure of sizes or how many they are listing, keep quoting price in dollars, don't we have any auctioneers in the uk.

I should add this is my first ever online auction so perhaps they are all like this.

The first two auctioneers were British, but despite what he said about dropping the bid didn't do it on an item I was about to bid on - so missed out a couple of times. I did get one of the items I had on the list, so can't really complain.

I think they are only working on the listings prepared for the catalogue, and that's a bit vague in places.

It's going to be a long night for them if they are doing up to lot number 1000 today, they have only done 225 in 5 hours!

people are paying crazy prices! I bid £11 on all the boots, worth £90 before adding premium and vat, they have gone for more than double what you would pay retail! mad. biggrin

On the assumption it cost him £2376 including the fees plus VAT, then he had to drive down to pick it up, add ebay listing fees and getting stung by PayPal there has to be easier ways to make a few quid.

That is if he can sell it on, to me it seems vastly overpriced but dafter things have happened looking at the other items selling with a huge dose of auction fever.

As somebody said earlier, "this lot are slower than a Marussia F1 car".

God it's painful to watch.

They need to hire a coder from the porno webcam sites. They seem to cope with thousands of viewers without crashing.

Based on the prices being reached I'm going to auction everything we have and retire! £3K for gearbox tooling, we have 35 sets!
