Unfair on Stoffel. Jan openly admits to a lack of work ethic. No doubting Stoff’s work ethic but he doesn’t have the experience of Alonso to drive round the problems with what is a stbox

An F1 drive is much like working at a large company and when either is failing the bosses blame the staff.
So Vandoorne's career in F1 is over for now.
At least he had that last race to show Mclaren up which is not afforded to someone carrying their box of stuff out of the front door.

It was even worse. Last season as well so it was something like 26 consecutive races where he was not able to beat Alonso in Quali.
