No, the point stands notwithstanding the Rich Energy issue; Williams management is inept and seemingly without any strategy.
They seem to have had a bad couple of years but its not the end of the world. Last time I looked there are 6 other
teams that have gone round and around track's on a global marathon to not win any races or titles either.

Booker Publishing and Sauber in the 90s spring to mind!

So Rich Energy Racing is also registered by our friend

apparently Rob Lee (Ex Footy player) also has a interest in the company but not registered as a shareholder?

ETA

Found this

https://trademarks.justia.com/856/21/rich-energy-8...

owned by Lawrence Chatters and Mujahid Kuwa.

see here

https://gust.com/companies/rich_distribution_1

interestingly RIch energy claims it is uk made (or the cans are?) but this claims it is made in Salzburg

I mean dont get me wrong fair play if you can get someone to fund your F1 all access around the world but it just does not add up!

Yes, I think they should just shut up shop, go home and start packing shelves at Sainsbury's.

They are becoming embarrassing!

Yeah right, that would show tremendous resilience, just give up and go home, tail between legs.

Or, weather the storms as they come and not give in to pathetic nay sayers like you two?

Get a grip of yourselves.

Nah, easier just to return to Grove and start packing Johnson's baby shampoo again.

Apparently when Williams put George Russell and Ocon in the simulator they were a lot quicker than sirotkin and Stroll which gives them a headache over paid drivers.

Also apparently they have learnt a lot from this years car (How not to do it, so I think next year they should be challenging the midfield)

Can you imagine if it turned out it wasn't the car, the drivers were just mediocre without realising it? Like home horrible inversion of Mclaren? laugh

More seriously, whilst it must be punishing for Vandoorne being so regularly crushed by Alonso, Williams have a situation where neither driver has much to measure themselves against.

Ocon and Perez have been at it hammerd tongs for a couple of years now, which must improve you as a driver.

What was the story there? I vaguely remember the logos on the car but nothing else about it.

Where's Red Bull based? As in the drinks company? That's Salzburg isn't it? The Hass website states the cans are made in the UK so presumably its canned in the UK, well unless they transport empty cans around the world, which would be a bit like shipping air. The product is made in a £50 million state of the art manufacturing facility but that could be virtually anywhere, just need a tanker to ship the product.

On the BWT to Williams, as they sponsor Force India who are now owned by Stroll who wants to extract his son from a driving deal presumably there is a deal to be done somewhere.

They should find a way to get at least russell in there for a race this season for back to back comparison with how this year has gone as a new car next year will be too different...

Is his rich energy just building a brand so they can sell it to someone who will actually make and sell a product?

Sadly much as I would love to see this, I imagine finances from Stroll and Sirotkin would probably not allow this, otherwise I imagine Stroll would have gone by now.

A start up publishing firm (financial publishing IIRC) that claimed to have extensive investment and struck a deal with Sauber to boost brand recognition and open networking opportunities in the paddock.

The relationship survived for nearly a whole season on the basis of "the cheque's in the post' during which the two directors availed themselves of all the perks sponsorship offers. The cheques were never posted because the money to back them up never existed. I think they were eventually prosecuted for fraud.

The most basic of due diligence would have pinged up many red-flags. That this wasn't done was quite embarrassing and the story was kept quiet about at the time to help save Sauber's face.

Thanks for the link, What a load of Bull.

It’s a shame that unlike the real RedBull this one just a lot of made up nonsense.

I wonder what are the chances that the HAAS team and going to look very silly once it becomes clear what’s going on here. Invisible product with invisible accounts may as well just emblazon the sides of the car with Walter Mitty!
