No one else apart from the two other teams (Williams and Toyota) that also had double deck diffusers.
By mid season the Brawn wasn't the best car, they had no money to develop it.I remember it well how tense it got at the end because i put a £50 bet on Button winning the championship and won £2500.

Yep considering the early dominance it was amazing how late in the season Button clinched the title. I was working for one of the teams at the moment and all the mechanics recounted being at winter testing and being on the phone to bookmakers after seeing the Brawns first few outings.......
I placed my bet after the shakedown, you could see how good it was. Only time in my life i placed a bet.Kraken said:
Good god, it really is like shooting fish in a barrel sometimes. ROFL.
For those of you with selective memories you might have forgotten that there were three teams with double diffuser shod cars at the start of the season...
As mentioned over an hour ago. For those of you with selective memories you might have forgotten that there were three teams with double diffuser shod cars at the start of the season...
Didn't Ross Brawn bring up the issue of the double diffuser loophole at some meeting and he was ignored?

The Brawn though was in a total league of its own. I still remember the absolute shock everyone was in at the start of that year. Jenson must have been pissing himself with excitement.''For those of you with selective memories you might have forgotten that there were three teams with double diffuser shod cars at the start of the season...

I assumed they were running underweight in order to attract sponsors. That was me told when they pitched up at the first GP without any sponsors, then won the championship.paulguitar said:

Yes Hamilton would have won in the fastest car.
I think we can all agree on that one.![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
As it was, he managed to win in what wasn’t the fastest car for a good part of the season.
Ferrari weren’t able to press home their advantage when they had it due to a string of stunning weekends from Hamilton.
.. and some whopping mistakes from Vettel, plus Ferrari messing up their car upgrades later in the season.I think we can all agree on that one.

Hamilton easily the best driver of the season though, given the emphatic manner he handled the second half near-flawlessly while under pressure to perform.

I've explained why I was under the impression. I'm not going into details about a friend but he left me under the impression that he was. Whether that was right or wrong is no odds to me. Someones choices are their own.
You're right about me not being stupid mind, regardless of what some may try and impress to deflect from their blinkered views.
And yes, some comments have been homophobic.
So you’re not going to tell us what gave him that impression....lol!You're right about me not being stupid mind, regardless of what some may try and impress to deflect from their blinkered views.
And yes, some comments have been homophobic.
And what comments have been homophobic?
He’s not going to back up his homophobic comments claims... perhaps he thinks the PHers not believing Hamilton to be gay is homophobic as hating the thought as opposed to not caring whether he is.
Brad says he’s not bothered either way but came here and posts it anyway... maybe he was expecting to stir things up and surprised to get nothing. No real reaction at all.

If Hamilton is gay it might explain why he would want to keep it hushed, or wait until he retires from F1.
This subject is all speculation ofcourse

Great driver, but don’t particularly like his persona/personality out of the car whatever.
But going along with the current conversation, I’ve had a conversation about it previously, and speculated that it wouldn’t be a surprise if he came out publicly at some point.
This is merely observational with that opinion formed. It makes no odds if he does or doesn’t / is or isn’t. It’s not meant to be a dig at him and my perception of him wouldn’t change one way or the other.

Sensiblely put. If he does/is it will wind up a few even more. But going along with the current conversation, I’ve had a conversation about it previously, and speculated that it wouldn’t be a surprise if he came out publicly at some point.
