A childhood hero of mine, I have great respect for his talent, business acumen and immense contribution to safety in not just F1 but all motorsport but am hugely disappointed in his knee jerk negative responses whenever Lewis is the topic of discussion.

"He clearly brake checked Vettel and should definitely be penalised"

Engaging mouth before brain is not what I expected from a man I was in awe of. frown

Indeed but then as JYS has lived in the UK since 1996, the point is moot anyway.
He lives in Switzerland.
Not any more.

A mate had quite a lot of dealings with him recently, every time he rang it was still from Switzerland.

He has an estate in Buckinghamshire, since he moved back to the UK to set up Stewart GP, however, like lots of people, he has more than one property, across different countries. My understanding is that he considers the Buckinghamshire property as home.

He must have kept his house there. Also since the 90s, he's lived in Ellesborough.

The mobile feature is probably one of the more useful tools on his Swiss Army knife

Although in 2019, he said he considers Switzerland his home - https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/r... .

"As well as their main residence on the shores of Lake Geneva, they have an estate in Buckinghamshire."

Hamilton just lives rent free in the old bigots and detractors heads.

First Jackie Stewart.

Then Bernie saying he is not putting in effort and Toto should get rid of him.

Now you got Piquet going on about Silverstone calling him a N, why are they even discussing it who cares that was past year totally irrelevant for this year.

Rent free.

It would be nice to see F1 do something more concrete than issue a statement and ban Piquet from any future races. It's reported that he's used the Brazilian derivative of the n-word. Twice. What a complete and utter cock-socket.

And there goes another F1 driver I thought I'd respected. What an absolute piece of sh*t.

I never respected him. In fact I mentioned him a few weeks ago on here and his abuse of Rosanne Mansell and Ayrton Senna.

He was beaten by Mansell and Senna comprehensively (despite fluking 1987 WDC after Nige's crash) and was always a complete st towards them.

The comments were made at the time but have only just come to light.

Isn't Piquet the father of Max Verstappen's girlfriend?

Ahh didn't know that, wonder why it's been sat on or not reported on for a whole year thought it was on some interview or podcast.

Just came here to post about Piquet-'s comments. What an absolute turd that man is. It's a pity that something like this has to come to light before people actually admit that Hamilton is on the receiving end of racism.

Rightly or wrongly Max will have to be prepared to answer questions about this at next Thursdays press conference. The old racist FIL starts spouting off about your rival, not a good look

I believe he was also a steward at one of the last 4 races of last season but I can’t find any details to confirm.
