Yep, he seems to have struck a chord. Still nobody denies that LH is a great driver, only that he is not as good in certain circunstances (when he is driving in the midfield).
Hamilton took responsibility and apologised. What more do you want?It was an incredibly rare error of judgement from Hamilton, and he held up his hand to it.
Doesn’t mean he is not a great driver, but that seems to be one of his weaknesses.
You don't push the limit each race and never crash.
The fact is that Hamilton was at the front for 8 years so didn't have many people to crash in to. Now that's he more in the midfield, when he does now have collisions, it's more notable.
But it's not a 'weakness' unless you're Maldonado and doing it every week.

Undoubtedly impressive, however definitely not "destroyed" to use your terminology.
Alonso's remarks at Spa and his subsequent climb-down are absolutely fuel to the fire that Hamilton is still under his skin and in his head after 15 years. It is hardly desirous or constructive to harbour this kind of resentment for all of this time. HustleRussell said:

Sounds to me like the PR departments of Alpine and Mercedes-Benz have got their heads together to defuse a situation that had every indication of getting out of control.
But, taking my cynic's hat off for a moment (lovely hat, beautiful plumage), I think it's a nice lighthearted resolution to the incident.

LH is saying today after FP1 for the Dutch GP that”if we all had the same car”. Lewis, it might have slipped your attention that many of the drivers on the F1 grids over the last few years have been saying the same.
What did he say, exactly?Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
