IIRC, Cosworth is US owned...
A Cosworth badged as a GM/Cadillac? Bit like putting a Chevy engine in your Cobra replica. carl_w said:

A Cosworth badged as a GM/Cadillac? Bit like putting a Chevy engine in your Cobra replica. They have been building racing engines for GM for a long time, their F1 division was sold to Mercedes in 2005, since then they have worked with Honda and built their Indycar engines and helped with the current winning F1 engine. They now make the GM Indycar engines.

Which company has better credentials to build an F1 spec MGU-K engine is probably open to debate, as is bringing in specific knowledge and expertise. Cowell and Binotto are obvious candidates.

Of course Cosworth isn't Ilmor. IIRC it's owned by Gerald Forsythe and Kevin Kalkhoven. I'm sure you know their US motorsport background.

Based on their current relationships and ability, I'd be very surprised if GM didn't use Ilmor.Which company has better credentials to build an F1 spec MGU-K engine is probably open to debate, as is bringing in specific knowledge and expertise. Cowell and Binotto are obvious candidates.
Sadly I don’t think Schumacher will get another shot. I say sadly because HAAS is the last team to step up to F1 with, especially the stbox he had to try and drive in his first year. He made mistakes, and didn’t help himself with those around him, but he needed to be in a better team and to have delivered more, as Piastri has.
WEC is hopefully coming into something of a golden era, so hopefully he’ll get a chance to shine there. Although, not sure about Alpine.
F1 will look very different in a few years time. Hopefully Andretti get in and a number of seats open up.

He’s getting renewed I think
Surely you would have done it at a recent race, or even this one? All the talent (many with backers) that we saw yesterday and Logan is the best they can get?
They must have better options.
