Who is the black guy with the rasta hat?
Benjamin Zephaniah. Well known poet.
Or not.
I don't know much about poetry, but I've heard of him. He's done stuff on Radio 2,4, BBC One, etc.

I just hope this year doesn't end up being decided by a DNF from mechanical failure
It could certainly be as tight as that.

I think Lewis will win but one DNF in the context of them exchanging 1st and 2nd places will be huge.

I agree. Touch wood, we've seen very few so far this year so I hope the racing has the final say.

The Mercedes-powered Racing Points were the ones turning into flamethrowers at the back end of the season last year so if Red Bull are in the mix it could give Mercedes a few headaches over how much power to run on race-worn power units.

Brave to bet against Hamilton.

The spend required for the new regs next year is the elephant in the room. RB needed to be on top at the beginning of the season IMO. They are behind the curve now and face some very difficult decisions if they slip further behind.
You keep saying this, but again there was less than 5 seconds between the top 2 after 65 laps...that’s less than a tenth per lap on a circuit that should favour Mercedes.

Red bull are in a far better position than you are making out
But everyone has been saying the RB is the fastest car. And should have been on pole and got fastest lap.

Just seen the race. A little bit of an anti climax but no change to the overall championship picture.

The Redbull was clearly the fastest car at the first two race weekends. This weekend I think the Mercedes had the edge as an overall package, although I think the Redbull should still have been on pole, simply because the Mercedes didn't seem to work on the softs.

Mercedes should really have had a one-two today. Bottas was perhaps doubly unlucky, firstly to have the poor stop and secondly to have the engine problem just as he was closing in on DRS range towards the end... however there's no getting away from the fact that he was some way off Hamilton in terms of race pace.
