I’m definitely not a fan but he doesn’t have to qualify tops he can afford to step off a bit as he’s got the championship in the bag.

Lewis getting a seventh seems inevitable now and he will almost certainly beat the most wins ever next season. Think only 7 to go on that?

Not sure about that.

Leclerc with a full team behind him might do it especially if Bottas is driving like Japan and today. It will take away many points away from Hamilton. I think that Mercedes wants Lewis to get the record and might have to go number 1and number 2 driver for next year.

Would be awesome to see Lewis do it!

Just a general vibe. I can't really put a finger on it. Maybe it's even in the way he's conducting himself. To me there's just a sense of inevitability hanging over him now. I will admit that I've been on a bit of a Lewis downer since his vegan propaganda social media outburst, so that is probably colouring my judgement. I am a career fan, though, so I'm not biased in that regard.

I guess will see as time unfolds, but personally I think we are seeing the start of a slow decline. Just an opinion.
Doesn't look like it at all!

Awesome, considering the pace of the Ferrari this year the point rate from Lewis has been impressive.

He has definitely lost a bit of that extreme speed
Perhaps but it's hard to say, he's still done some Q3 Laps this year that I'm not sure anybody could match so pace is still there! Even so, his tyre management in races has been incredible and he's really getting payback from his race experience.

I don’t recall saying he wasn’t going to win the title. I don’t even recall saying he wasn’t still performing. He ran a good race and deserved to be crowned champion.

The problem with Bottas is he isn't consistently fast over a whole season. He puts in good performances like today but other races he's out of the running. A solid #2 driver.
