One article mentioned it had been created in collaboration with "Only The Fast", who seem to be linked in some way to www.heritage-f1.com
I see they have a Sauber C29 and C30 for sale, so I'd also go with it being a Sauber Ferrari - especially since the description for the C29 mentions leasing the Ferrari engine.
I presumed it was a Sauber based solely on the fact that it had the Sauber steering wheel...my assumption being there's plenty of functions that are team/car specific on the wheel - I would not for example expect it to be easy to slap a Williams wheel into a Ferrari steering boss and expect it to work without a lot of hassle, therefore for simplicity's sake if it has a Sauber wheel it is most likely a Sauber chassis.I see they have a Sauber C29 and C30 for sale, so I'd also go with it being a Sauber Ferrari - especially since the description for the C29 mentions leasing the Ferrari engine.
Also it looks just like the Sauber.

Its just not competitive in BOSS, have you seen the V10 lap times now with modern tyres?
Last weekend the chap driving the Torro Rosso STR1 set a fastest race lap of 1:23.499 (qualifying was wet). In the 2006 German GP, that would have put him some 3 seconds behind the slowest qualifier (Sakon Yamamoto/Super Aguri Honda). Or, within 7 seconds of the actual driver of the car back in 2006, Tonio Liuzzi. So I get your point - I'd be pretty confident that Ingo Gerstl is not driving the STR1 anywhere the flat-out pace the team's drivers did in 2006, yet is still within 7 seconds of their qualifying pace in the same car 10 years later.
That's pretty impressive!
Would still be nice for some more 2000s era equipment to fill the Boss GP grid though.
