Well, that was the best F1 weekend's racing I've ever watched on TV. Rain, new-ish asphalt, equals unpredictable driving. Brilliant

In the three years to the point that he joined they only had 3 race wins.

People say 'he had the winning car'.


The winning driver develops and helps create that winning car. He doesn't turn up on race day and get given keys.

A Peter Windsor video since Sunday mentioned Bernie's idea of tracks having sprinklers that could be activated by some algorithm during the race.

We're partially there given the deployment of the Safety Show Car this season?

Agreed, I was always a Williams supporter so McLaren were seen as the opposition. Not that Frank treated his drivers well, in fact probably worse than Ron Dennis but somehow I always like the way Williams went racing. Those days are long gone so I don't really follow any team now...

I was a fan from the Bruce McLaren days, not MP4, but I’ve stuck with them. But I’ve been a Williams supporter too.
