NetFlix Drive to Survive season 2 (2019)
Discussion
Well they have got some material so far this yr...
Bottas 2.0
Gasly v Red Bull
Sainz, Norris, and the rise of McLaren
Haas looking like a bunch of vankers
Max driving his socks off (before the summer)
Albon moving from TR to RB
Kvyat Redemption in Germany
Leclerc... (might need two episodes)
Merc in Germany/Ferrari at Monza
Seb v Sharl v Ferrari
Anything missed?

Haas looking like a bunch of wkers
Sorry, why a bunch of wkers? The Hass / Rich Energy debacle might be worth a mention, but its not really about driving.. just a non-storey story.
Will be interesting to see what (excuses) Williams have got to say about their season.
As for Williams... I think there is a developing story to be told there, but I think they will be less open than last season. Big changes have to be being considered and I doubt they wish to present any of that in a Netflix docu.

I think you need to watch S1 to get the joke. The Hass / Rich Energy debacle might be worth a mention, but its not really about driving.. just a non-storey story.

So it was a reference rather than an accusation - sorry.
What I would like to see in this series is exactly how Romain's manager got him a HASS seat again next season!!
I can imagine Horner will be made to look quite the villain with many many reassurances being made about Gasly staying, followed by an immediate cut to the announcement of his departure. Frankly the man is just doing his job, he couldn't announce what decisions were going to be made even if they had been made in advance... but it makes for stronger looking characters so I imagine that'll be played upon
Merc only allowing the cameras in for one race and that race being Germany is going to be absolute gold, I'm envisaging the F1 equivalent of a 45 minute version of this

Aside from the storey story, HAAS have had a few TV gold comedy moments this year.

They're still banging the 'money is no problem' drum despite doing at Caterham at the weekend and retiring a car to save parts. But when you have a team boss who'll only walk away when the team is sunk and she'll still claim she wasn't the problem what else is expected. As for Williams... Lewis Hamilton is apparently trying to block them from showing the coverage of him from the German Grand Prix. He is blaming it on being ill and not wanting people to see him like that. I suspect it more to do with him acting like a spoilt child during the race. Apparently after his spin he asked the team to retire the car.

You heard that on the radio during the race, him asking to retire the car. DanielSan said:

I do hope that the Netflix producers push the Williams story and dig a little deeper. Obviously Williams might not be all that cooperative but I'm sure some of the other TP's have knowledge and opinions of the current Williams efforts and strategy.

It'd also be interesting to see the Paddy Lowe thing being covered, if at all, in this series.
