What F1 race to attend?

Last night it came up with my dad, neither of us have ever been to a formula 1 race, so next season before engine changes it will be,

Somewhere in Europe, thinking Spa, but what's it like from a spectator point of view at the track, will it be a better experience than silverstone?

Thanks everyone, I'm looking at Spa as the most likely now, loving the idea of taking the Tuscan over, can do an overnight sail from Newcastle to Amsterdam and then the drive looks good from there. The dates look good too, assuming they on't change things with the unconfirmed European race.

Le Mans is the plan with the better half, I'll be in France 100 miles down the road the week before Le Mans, would be rude not to!
