Silverstone last minute availability

I see there are still tickets available for next weekend's GP.

As I haven't been for over 20 years, I have a few questions:

If I got general admission tickets (Sunday only), how likely are you to get a decent view in the general areas?
Following on from that, what time do you really need to arrive?
How bad are the queues in and out these days?
£50 to park - really! Is the park and ride any good, or will it be massive queues for buses to get out?
Any tips on what to take etc?

OK scr3w that. The GA tickets have gone up from £150 to £170 since this morning! Grandstand seats up as well.

I presume they are still expecting to sell out then, as that's two ticket sales they have potentially lost.

I will watch from the comfort of my sofa as per usual!
