Last stop of 2023, all change please.
Las Vegas was very good, wasn’t it? An actual race . Now we’re in Abu Dhabi to finish a rather dull season, although all credit to Max and Red Bull Racing for making it that way, and wooden spoons to Ferrari and Mercedes for the same.
Expect more Red Bull/Max domination but It will be interesting to see whether Ferrari can overtake Mercedes for 2nd in the Constructors’ Championship, and if McLaren can remain ahead of Aston Martin after its poor showing in Las Vegas. The poll is for the win as things seem to have closed up a bit.
Thanks for all the contributions to the race threads over the year, we might not always agree but we all share a love for the sport.
Here’s to a great race!

PIAP - thanks also from me for your sterling efforts. I’m currently in Dubai heading to Abu Dhabi tomorrow for the weekend. I’d like to think it will be a great race but realistically…….However the buzz should be good.
Very jealous WW, of both the race and the weather. Post a pic if you can, we like to live vicariously through others here Deesee said:

Will be watching intently to see what happens between AT and Williams. I'd imagine both engines to be turned up to 11 and rumours of AT bringing upgrades to this race to knock Williams off 7th spot!
Interesting one, Red Bull rear suspension last week, updated floor this week, id imagine Red Bull management would want them 7th for the extra tunnel time.willy wombat said:
I can assure you I do enjoy the race for the positions (I’ve been a fan of F1 since Jim Clark was my hero in the 1960s). However, IMHO, two or three cars racing for P1 is far more exciting than them racing for P2. Off to the Paddock Club now. Enjoy the race everyone and again, PIAP, thanks for all your work on this thread over the year.
You are very welcome WW, enjoy the hospitality C70R said:

Are we supposed to have a pundit that openly admits to being a groupie of a certain driver.
Presume you forgot Murray Walker being reduced to tears when Hill won?Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
