Not long to go now, anyone looking forward to their Christmas gift? I'll start the ball rolling as i've got a private plate from my wife this year, we bought it from DVLA direct on line and was amazed how fast the entitlement document came. From 'click to buy' to paperwork delivered was around 2 days, just need to get it on the car now.

So what is everyone else getting or hoping to get car related this Christmas? Anyone getting a 'new' car or maybe tuning bits, tools, car brand clothing for your P&J, maybe only an air freshner? Tell what is everyone getting. smile

Cool, can you post some pics when you're finished?

Just the pretty much traditional Clarksons DVD and book most likely. And I am treating my E39 to a full detail clean in the spring as a kind of late Xmas present to myself and it!

I got a supercar experience day last year, ariel atom, gtr, impreza and m3. Was ok but I'd say it was geared more to my sister driving, hardly even pushed the cars

Its a surprise this year, so hopefully some new biking gearsmile

Wotcha Al!

That's a beasty you have parked on your drive now! Very cool

Just to let you know the 'Ro is going really well, I had it over to Monkfish for a service (and a sneaky ripshifter biggrin )and she is running great, I am definitely warming to it - now I am learning to exploit the best from it. I can't get over how economical it is (well, can be...), if I am careful I get better MPG than my daily hack.

In answer to your post, I have been dropping hints about a new toolbox with wheels for a few months now, just hoping Santa will be able to get it down the chimney.

Hi there! smile glad to hear all is well with you and the Ro. My 'beast' is a partime toy and i still have the bike. The daily now is a Vectra SRi (06) in petrol not stinky diesel! Have a great Christmas.

I asked for a long-sleeve PH top for track days, but apparently only tiny sizes or MASSIVE sizes are left. I'm not that powerfully built unfortunately. So that (hopefully) just leaves Senna on DVD.

My partner and I are thinking of getting a new car _ not sure what to get though? Something practical to go with our toy.

I hope you have done your research as most of the steering wheels only work on one console. There are some that work on both but they're not cheap.

Hopefully Santa is bringing me some of those retro metal signs (Shell, Ferodo, Champion Spark Plugs, etc) to cheer up my garage...

Yep, I'm buying myself another yank pick up truck.

I've been asked what I want, and I've no idea so I'll probably opt for a framed pic or a canvas of something - I've got quite a bit of VW camper related art and various trinkets, so it'll probably be something to do with that.

im collecting another car tomorrow nothing fancy, 10K mile Focus.

chatting to the owner at the garage he had a depleated forecourt (about 35 cars) and only had half the stock he would normally carry, he said it was very difficult to find decent used cars at the right money. Due to the main delearships not making many new sales and this effecting the used market

some more PH clothing ordered...
