Ok, the title maybe misleading and I came across on the off-chance.

@1.48 of the vid - who is in the wrong? Any of them said people involved on PH?

The uploader of the vid admits he was too close to the car in front, even if the other car was braking in an odd place.

TBH, I did no watch past that point. I will do so now.

I am curious as to if the VXR8 owner is a member to give his point of view?

Clio closed in too close to the VXR8, probably hoping to get past on the way through the corner rather than be stuck behind the VXR8 on the long, fast section of track that was coming up.

VXR8 on the other hand, braking on and off, off the racing line and obviously not familiar with the track.

100% Clio. Quite clear the VXR8 Driver was lacking in confidence.

Also, the driver of the Clio appears to be Gareth Cheeseman.

Clio, he gave himself no room what so ever and didn't anticipate that the VXR8 driver was very unsure despite catching him up very quickly.
Yep - and tried to pass him whilst cornering. The VXR8 driver was pants, but the Clio driver was being pretty stupid too.

It's not a race, gents. VXR8 driver should have seen the car closing that quickly and eased off and stayed hard to the right. Them's the rules. He apexed the corner slowly, and then let the car run wide as if he hadn't even seen the Clio.

Moron driver. In the Clio that is. Didn't even give the guy a few seconds to see him and let him by. It's the following car's responsibly to pass safely. I literally cannot fathom the mindset of the Clio driver. Impatient and arrogant, sorry dude.

He called the VXR8 a Monaro. What kind of car enthusiast would do that?

Yes, the VXR8 owner is a PH member.

As for the driver of the Clio, well that was a very foolish maneuver.

Indeed Clio driver comes across as a cockey know it all that drives an assisted FWD hot hatch and thinks he's God.

Fact is I bet the VXR8 driver has never driven the Ring before and is understandably being cautious, the Clio could have waited and then pass after the corner, clearly he can see the guy in the VXR8 doesn't know the circuit well so you give him plenty of room.

Facepalm.

I thought I was the only one who thinks the Clio driver behaved in a dubious way.
