curuious to know...
the only thing my other half cannot do well at all is park... driving is fine but I need to take over before parking is completed. its caused a bit of tension but how else can you deal with this?! I suppose tell her to put £200 in an escrow account to pay for chipped wheels?! smile

No issue with her driving any of the cars. She's not driven the Caterham, but only because she doesn't want to.

Mind you, her car does have a carpark injury..

I let my previous two drive all my cars, even my Scooby on foreign (drive on the left right) roads. My new lady is insured on the Merc (brought the premium down) but I've not let her out in it yet. To be honest I'm still enjoying driving it too much and I've not needed her to be Des yet. I'll let her soon I think. I've only had the car 2 months and we've only been going out for 4 months.

EDIT: wink

the thing is i like driving too much since Im not doing much mileage. the problem of london is we dont need two cars but im begining to think it would be good just to learn parking!

Other half is named driver on the Astra VXR even though she has only been driving 2 years.

We have owned it since december.

She has driven it exactly zero times.

She says it scares her, which is fine by me!

Let her? I've been trying for years to persuade mine!

She wouldn't even passenger in the Caterham and although she will, reluctantly, ride in the Chimaera she'd never consider driving it.

Sadly, no-one's driven it for years frown

She did though (don't tell her, but she's a pretty good driver actually smile )

I let my fella drive my car on track at the weekend (thankfully we were using his track tyres!).

Yes, but the sheer stress of wondering if she's going to kerb alloys really takes its toll frown
