Most ridiculous size tyres on car

anyone running a road car with 30/35 or 40 series tyres on anything other than a supercar is a muppet.
Quite a sweeping statement, as many come from the factory that way - what do you suggest, that someone ponies up thirty grand on a new car, drives straight to the local tyre fitting centre and spends yet more of their hard earned on a set of four new tyres?Axionknight said:

I've had a few cars with these crazy low profiles and dont like them on our bumpy roads (the most recent was 255/30/19 on a 335 auto) its a cosmetic thing, the person who specc'ed it with those wheels was a fool, he could have had 17" and 45 series rubber and a decent ride.BMW 3 series are tragic for silly sized wheels but even my 150 diesel astra had 225/45 17s - the same as our 335d!
It's possibly the most retarded fashion fad devised by the motor industry.
Want wheels that break, knock your teeth out, kerb at the merest hint of an opportunity, weigh far more, use comically priced tyres that a supercar owner would wince at? Sure, may I point you towards these 19s/20s - a mere three grand extra - oops sorry I mean a mere £18 extra per monthly payment.
