I agree. It's disgusting. I fail to see as a society how it can be acceptable to make such an unwelcome intrusion into someone's life and walk away owing them nothing. All that suspended sentence nonsense is well and good but the crown dishing out punishments does nothing for the family who have suffered real, physical and measurable loss.That is just so wrong...

What really ticks me off is that it's a piddly amount of work which equates to barely three weeks.
I suspect that the family whose house was wrecked do not want to see Pratt again but I'm certain they would like him to suffer far more since presumably they have had to endure huge amounts of hassle and disruption in their lives.

He writes of his auntie's car - he's caused about £15k's worth of damage to her.
He destroys that family's living room - call it £30k's worth of damage to them? More if serious structural work is required.
