What's your favourite Japanese classic ?

1991 CRX VTEC in Celestial Blue.
OK - purely personal as I bought mine in 1994 at a time when most Honda owners were 70+.
So many good memories, great journeys/holidays and a great girlfriend at the time. Both the car & missus were mega reliable and neither are in my life any more![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)

What's the cutoff for 'classic' status? Insurance defined or not? These are my favourite but they don't go back that far, I love alot of the 70's & 80's stuff
I love all of these;

I just love these, the start of the proper GTR's

Who can say no to pop up headlights? This could also have a digi-dash (which could fail a fair bit) but looks so good. It's the first car I drove in Gran Turismo too![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)

I really enjoyed the anime and the proper reviews with it's cheap simplicity. I wish they hadn't be turned into drift machines and ruined![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)
These two may be pushing it;

I love the styling of this and think it was totally futuristic despite coming out in 1989.

Could ramble for hours on the bottom one, mainly because I've bought it, but for a car that came out in 1993 it is relatively close in performance terms (and weight/power) to a BMW Z4 a car 16 years it's junior really makes it a stand out machine.
