Unlike your sarcasm :-)

Even by current huge SUV standards that BMW appears enormous. Although given the strange new trend for families with 2 kids now requiring 7+seat VW Transporters maybe a BMW ship is going to do well for those who now feel their X5 is losing its ability to "dominate the road/school run"

Absolutely. It will probably feel like an Elise in comparison to the Tesla which is crap to drive. And feels old and poorly made.

The x7 is odd as it was already semi out there months ago after pictures from the production line were put online at least in bmw circles.

But yes the kidney grill size is ott.

Still shorter than an SWB 7...

To be fair the X5 is surprisingly small inside.

It's an ugly mofo. yes

1:17 in that vid, and it's using it's indicators. Can't be a real BMW.

What an unnecessary car.

I wonder if this has much in common with the RR cullinan when you peal back the styling and bodywork.

In relation to the chassis type - nothing.

Cullinan rides on the new (current) Phantom "architecture of luxury" modular platform. Keeping the statement after the ghost, wraith and dawn true that they wont reuse other lower cars platforms.

The x7 is on CLAR modular platform like everything will be from the 3 up (and i believe x3 up). The 1 and 2 will be on the mini ukl platform in the new versions.

I suspect in relation to off roading technology and other items then you will still find some shared aspects.
