So, you have 'made' it and have a sizeable mansion.

As others in a similar position have done before, you also decide you want a car hung on the wall. You'll never drive it, so handling etc matters not. All that matters is you enjoy looking at it for any number of reasons.

I have gone with what may be seen as an obvious choice, purely because I have always loved the shape and undoubtedly, like many, had a poster of one.

There are of course numerous cars I would love to look at, from classic Alfas and vintage rally cars, to F1 cars and vehicles that simply hold certain memories, but I decided this would probably top them all for me.

What would you pick?

(Would be happy with any colour and model, spoiler or no spoiler..)

Be a tough one for me.

I currently live near the original Aston Martin factory, couple that with my favourite movie franchise and I suspect there would be room for a DB5 in Silver on my wall.

I'm also a massive Scuderia Ferrari fan, Saying that though I couldn't just pick one of their F1 cars so I'm going to say, If money was no object I would pick my favourite F1 drivers first title winning car

If I had room for more than 1 then, why not I'd go for all 7 of the cars haha.

I am ashamed to admit that as a friend talked about these the other day, I realised I had never known their price from new, or what they go for now second hand. I said to him "What are they worth, then, 15 to 20k?" I had assumed they were probably about 30k new. I'm glad I didn't have a mouthful of drink when he explained...

I would want a 300SL Gullwing Mercedes, I am sure it would be a nice enough drive but I love the streamlined looks and almost Art Deco feel of it.

It would have to be the Countach. No, the Muira. Or the Countach. Or possibly the Porsche 930 turbo.

I’d have all three and swap them over every four months.

The Ferrari 400i below went off to be reincarnated as wall art in Germany.

NB: If you are thinking great loading. I thought the same. Especially when seeing car leaving with bootlid waving me goodbye.

Alfa 33 for me. Just gorgeous.

However, it wouldn't be on the wall. I find that odd.

The top down view is hardly the best angle to view any car ever designed, surely?

It would have to be a shell only as per the 400 above.
Any car I thought worthy of hanging on a wall I’d also want to drive and so would not be hanging it on a wall.
Perhaps a VW T6 just so I knew there was one less on the road being driven by an unhinged individual...

So it's not just me thinking why the fk would you hang a car on the wall?

Surely the wall would need some substantial bracing to stop it toppling over?

Hmm for me it would be parked in my lounge! Still thinking what it would though, Aston one77 perhaps.

Vert-a-Pac is an interesting story. If you want to be able to drive the car again quickly, then hanging it on the wall will be similarly difficult.

It’s the motoring equivalent of a dead butterfly in a picture frame. Or a stuffed Labrador.

Slightly not right. hehe
