Not very scientific I know but funny how I’ve seen more new 24 reg plates in the first couple of days than I care to remember for some time.
So much for there being a recession.
Out of the ones I’ve spotted only 1 was an EV.
A sign of the times perhaps?

I've only seen one.

Fortunately it was a rather lovely Ferrari Roma in a simply beautiful deep blue.

The only one I have seen so far was a JCB Front Loader here in rural Cumbria.

An Audi ev, and a mini ev.

I've only seen a Ford Ranger pick up and the brand new Toyota C-HR in the first 5 days of March 2024 so far.

I've seen one, and it was an EV.

I think it's only reasonable to infer that every car that has been sold this month is an EV.

I saw a black ford Transit being driven on trade plates, at the end of Feb. Must have been on the way to the showroom.

Must only be in the wealthy North East of England!!
First one on 1st March was an 8 wheel MAN tipper truck followed immediately by a Ford Ranger then a further 6 or so over the next couple of days including a couple of Audi A3 saloons and a Skoda Scala.
Today’s was a shock - a Ineos Grenadier in our village whilst I was walking the dog. Ours isn’t a wealthy village by any stretch.

I've only seen a couple, but I'd totally forgotten about the new registrations. Normally the ones I see are VAG products because I'm near one of their factories, but the one this morning was a Kia of some sort.

Not seen a single one yet, but then I don't drive far these days. smile Ever since it went to twice a year in 1999, it's not been quite the big deal it used to be, IMHO.

I was behind a coach for about 10 minutes before realising it was a 24 plate. First though was a highlighter pen yellow Peugeot e-208.
I have seen quite a few 24 plates about, mainly EVs i think but more new cars at the start of March or September than I have for a few years.

I've seen two new 24 plate cars in the last 5 days, and prior to that I'd never seen any for 60 odd years! So beat that.
