White Wall tyres

Shirley someone's just taken a can of gloss paint to those tires? IMHO white walls only work best on period yank cars; newer incarnations (like the camero etc) might be able to pull the look off well, but I haven't seen anyone try yet...
Edit: I stand corrected! That VW looks quite good on them; although the mods and matt black paint help.

Rover P5 always looks rather smart in a pair of white shoes...
No, not white shoes - black brogues with white spats! ETA - I actually quite like the blue Golf at the top of the page - makes a refreshing change from massive 'bling' wheels.

Would like to see it get over a speed bump though! Those look decidedly painted on with some hammerite though, better than the "undersized tyres stretched on" look IMHO
Seriously, what is the point of a car you don't drive?
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate cars like the E-type as much as anyone else, but if I had one I would definitely drive it! I know it would immediately lose all its value once it had a few miles under its belt, but that wouldn't bother me, they were made to be driven and happen to be nice to look at.
Use it!

Think the late E's are nicer to look at than to drive.Don't get me wrong, I appreciate cars like the E-type as much as anyone else, but if I had one I would definitely drive it!
