He might not be setting the world alight in the WRC, but he's clearly got "Orsom Skillz"

You have to give Ken Block immense credit for his vision and creation. I know his rally career hasn't really taken off but he's the only one doing this and really should take his skill on a worldwide tour. I think the Gymkhana videos are superb and have become more creative. I don't see an end anytime soon.

Suggestions for Piston Heads to put together something similar is a brilliant idea and they should give it some serious thought. Has any one put a post up for this or wants to start the campaign?

he isn't ever going to win if he insists on doing everything in super slow motion and spinning round every given obstacle four or five times.

Saw this earlier today. Brilliantly put together and great driving. Shame his WRC career isn't up to much.

Would love to be a passenger in the Gymkhana though.

A great place for a driving video as most US cities are somewhat flat. Amazing car control and I love the camera work. Top video Ken B.

Great Britain today:

The place where petrolheads love nothing more than to belittle (or try to) other petrolheads, makes you proud to be from a nation of fking moaners.

Good luck to the bloke, he had a smile on his face for half of it and rightly so too, looked awesome.

Whether you like him or not, the guy and his people are incredibly media savvy. Look at the number of hits on YouTube compared to WRC. He's probably the best known Rally driver on the planet. Have the WRC people learned anything from him??

Exciting, fun video. If you are 16.

Otherwise, interesting for 2 minutes, then you skip to 5.40 as there is a sideways jump there which is a bit different, and ...that's about it, really.

Could I do it? No. Could I drift a car with practice with some competency, though? Sure. Do I care to? No. I'd rather practice the motorcycle stunts--they look a lot more difficult.

Happy for him, if he wants to do this kind of stuff. Video is nicely edited, for the most part.

Exactly this, RedBull do it well too, quality marketing and away you go. WRC are missing a trick.

Mr Block isnt making it easy on himself in the gymkhana video series! How’s he going to top hooning around a city for the next one, if there is one!?

The guy has great car control there’s no doubt about that! But i prefer my flying and sideways over crests on the Finnish stages wink

Liked it, sideways jump was the standout. I think to myself I could do that with practise and then carry that thought on into the imaginary bushes and houses which would no doubt become my friends...

excelent, but i wonder where are all the people watching??

Its impossible to create that amount of attention without someone hanging out of their window to watch?? And its not that he only did it once looking at the skid marks!!

very strange, wondering now if it wasnt all one take or airbrushed in??
