You wouldn't believe there's any colours available but black, looking at the second hand market. frown
plenty out there with cream or red smile
When I was looking for a car for the wife, I couldn't find a single petrol, non-black interior, non-grey/silver exterior, E9x within 50 miles of here.

Plenty is a bit of stetch I reckon. Dull as dull black or boring as hell grey seem to be the majority of choices. Shame as they can do nice interiors yet so few (UK at any rate) seem to get supplied with them frown

I actually quite like the brown insides, nice to see a bit of tree in there too.

As mentioned on the 'leaked' photos thread, great looking car imo.

Interior also looks very nice, however I do feel the cup holder solution could have been more elegant.

Otherwise this is the first BMW I've seen in a while that I've really liked the look of from the off.

You're only prepared to travel 50 miles for the right car! A measly 50 miles. Should've tried a lil harder lol

How long before the 2 Series is introduced??
Shouldn't be too long into 2013 as I think the car's going on sale next year too.

Really hope it has a similar rear end to the Gran Coupe and this 4 Series. It's going to be stubby, I just hope it's not too stubby.

If I ordered a 4-series Gran Coupe with brown leather and piano black wood trimmings, would that be too much for you guys as well? In a black car.

Just a question, because I think that's a killer combo for a car like this.

Aesthetically, BMW's from the last 10 years have done shag all for me. But this does look exceptionally good.

Very smart.

For the wife's shopping car, yes. I went rather further for the Elise. smile

My wife has always specified brown leather for her X5s. I think the dealer had to change the leather to black in order to sell her last trade in. I found the new 3er just a tad too big, soft riding and light steering compared to my E90 335iM touring. I'm sure an M3 Touring would take care of 2 of those issues sufficiently well for me to ignore the 3rd.

I like it, more aggressive than BMWs of late. It is a shame that they seemed to move away from that "grr" scowl of the old sharknose E21s and 6 series, to me this has a touch of it back.
The side profile is quite Jag-ish with the wheel style and the gill on the wing.

As an Audi driver for the past 4 cars this looks the business. And compared to the bloated A5 styling I'd have the BM.

Handsome looking thing no doubt but I'm not convinced with the rear end. I do love the lights and the subtle lip on the bootlid but the bumper/exhaust ensemble is a bit of a mess frankly.

Looks a bit too fussy. Lacks confidence in the design.
Agree with this.

e38, e39, e46 all had unfussy strong designs.

Original Z4 too.

None of the recent 7's.

e60 somewhere in the middle.

e9X coupe pretty unfussy clean design too.

Latest 5 not that strong a design, but inoffensive.

New X5 better resolved than the original perhaps.

if it's anything like (or better than) the 3 series saloon, judging by most reviews it sounds like it'll be pretty good at least.

The new M3/M4 will be awesome- think 1M and it will be a lot lot better. I reckon the new car will eclipse the E92 M3, a bit like the E46 M3 eclipsed the E36 M3.
