Epic video - but those gloves.......
However.
The F40 has always been, for me at least, the greatest car ever built - lucky enough to drive one way back in the early 90's.
Scared the crap out of me but what a car.
I doubt that Harris will ever better that video - yes he was shouting a lot but you would have to be pretty emotionless not to be like that in an F40/F50 on a deserted race track.
I have never seen an F40 or an F50 being driven like that so what a pleasure to be allowed into those moments.
Total respect also to the owner for allowing his cars to be driven like that by both Harris & Hales - the same person who was said to have driven so recklessly that he destroyed a 917 engine.
Seems that the F40/F50 owner didnt have any concerns that Hales might destroy his cars so it makes me wonder somewhat.
I also have the tape recording somewhere from Fast Lane so might be time to hunt it down.
In the meantime i am going have another 'man moment' watching Harris thrash the balls off the daddy of all supercar's.

IIRC Mason's F40 used to have F40 NPG rego.
Wouldn't surprise me if they were, this is a man who told Martin Brundle he wasn't bothered if he crashed his 250 GTO at the Silverstone Classic a couple of years ago, the repair only became an issue if he rolled it IIRC Mason's F40 used to have F40 NPG rego.
