I spotted this in May and just got around to downloading it off the camera. It's not essential to be able to spell to be a truck driver, but ...



Also, does anyone know what this number is all about...

No. Dutch plates are 6 characters in all sorts of combinations, but not 8.

Old style Spanish plate on a UK format?
AA 1234 AA was their format until the newer style plates were launched I believe.

Which is no doubt being pulled by a foreign tractor unit hence the odd plate.

Depends on the truck on the front though don't it wobble You often see Euro trucks pulling UK trailers.

Later ones are 7 characters...but you are correct, not eight.

I still stick with foreign plate, but in a UK format biggrin

Yes, I thought about that after I'd posted. I noticed on holiday that they're not all xx-xx-xx any more, but there's a sequence of three now

Love posting plates and have two decent ones myself. This though would be my all time favourite. Perfect initials for me on an X5 today
