Same old whinging every time they do something.
It'll be business as usual once they've bolted on the usual raft of plastic tat. and it'll probably be great at doing what Subaru's are normally great at doing. No idea about the CVT, but it's nowhere near as loathesome as I expected it to be in the XV.

I think CVT is ok. I expected it to be rubbish but the ones I've used are very smooth and instantly respond well. No waiting for box to decide how to down or upshift just push the throttle and go. Smooth as an Auto off the line and at cruise. I just don't really like the cars CVT has been in! The engine will sound boring in 'auto' mode at full throttle but the 'virtual eight speed manual' mode sorts that out. We shall see how it works out. I still prefer a decent manual/eight speed auto before anyone calls me names. Not a bad looking car, just not exciting like a top spec STI would be.
But fingers crossed that version will come.
One thing I don't get though is most threads on here involves everyone crying about 'big wheels and rubber band tyres' yet when someone makes a car with small wheels and big tyres you all moan they're too small?
