I sometimes forget that this thread isn't a detailing forum.

It's unreasonable to expect people on here to start buying PTGs and an array of tools for wet sanding.

Looking through their Facebook page at the photos, for some strange reason they never mask the tyres when spraying wheels black

That's almost comical.https://www.facebook.com/VehicleResprayglasgow/pho...

It just doesn't make sense. It only takes a a few minutes to mask off the tyre, and the costs of the material to do so (some tape and paper at it's most basic) are minimal. Why would you skip that part to save a few pennies per wheel when the result looks so hilariously bad?SonicShadow said:

well for a DA6 machine polisher is £83 disks and proper pads £60 megs 105 and megs 205 then a nice finishing wax. your talking £200 max if your going to buy everything yourself and once its bought its yours. It's unreasonable to expect people on here to start buying PTGs and an array of tools for wet sanding.
Everyone knows a detailer that could do a homer. Im sure you could pay him around the same to do the car for you. I however will be doing it myself.. it looks like it will need wet sanding but who knows.. It might be fine with a cutting compound, polish and finnish.
time will tell

Hi folks
New member here, I have had 2 cars painted at Econospray a mk4 Golf that went from Metallic Black to Polar white in March last year it had dents on roof and wings all sorted including fixing my scabby allows and a Mk2 Cortina which went from Aubergine to Ford Ruby Red Metallic. Ok I didnt pay 399 for the Cortina but i was more than pleased with the results and the price and have pics of what they did to my car if anyone is interested ill post here.
It really depends on your expectations the door checks and under the bonnet aren't touched for £399 but wasnt an issue on the golf.

This thread does not appear to be any different to the others over the years.
And the tyre prep speaks volumes.
But I expect your car will have many photos with high res close ups with a perfect finish.
