Hi all,
Resident of Wales and im reaching out for some fossil information.... My in laws van blew its engine and Im trying to source a replacement Peugeot boxer 1.9TD engine. Is there a list of compatible cars I could get a donor engine from?
The van is 2002.
My knowledge of mechanics is pretty much zero sorry...

Hello Grunt, welcome to PH.
I would start a new topic in the Technical Engines & Drivetrain section to ask about compatible engines. Link here:

Hope you get sorted with a replacement engine.

Hi guys, thanks for welcoming me onto the site. I wonder if anyone can give me any hints as to the following problem.
I have a 2007 BMW 650i and recently it has developed the following starting fault. When cold it starts no problem, as it does if kt has been on a run and stop and start again. However, if I've just gone to get fuel or popped to the local shop, when I come to start again - nothing when i push the start button. Leave it 5 minutes and its fine again. Doesn't happen every time either, just very occasionally. Very annoying. Any hints gratefully accepted.
Cheers
John

Welcome to PH John, mighty fine choice of car there! I would suggest posting in our BMW General forum to try and get some advice on this https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...

Hi Ben
New to Pistonheads forums and not sure where to post. I have a problem with a TVR diagnostic reader giving a message saying it cannot connect for a reason. Any advice on where to post this?

We have a dedicated Chimaera forum here if you want help specific to your car, or if it's more of a general issue, you could always try our General TVR Stuff & Gossip forum instead. Hope you manage to resolve your issue.
Hi all, I'm Dave from Wollongong Australia. I've recently purchased one of my dream cars, being a 1998 TVR Griffith 500. I first saw one at the Geelong Speed Trials in Victoria - Win Percy was driving it. 25 years or so later, I'm delighted to have one parked in my driveway. That being said, since I bought it, the passenger side electric window has become U/S, so I'm looking for a regulator for it. Does anyone know where I can find one?

G'day Dave, and welcome. To find your regulator it is probably best to post the question in our dedicated TVR Griffith forum here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...
Alternatively, since parts may be common across a number of models, post in the General TVR forums here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?h=0&...
Good luck in your quest, and enjoy sharing your Griffith journey on the forums here.

I'm new to the forum and catching up on some of the long running threads.
Is there a way to jump to a particular page? ie if there are 200 pages how do I go to say page 85 without having to go back 2 pages at a time?
Many thanks.

At the bottom where it says, for example, page 85 of 85, go into the first box (white background) and you can delete that number and enter an alternative page number.

Depends on the device you are on - on a mobile device the page number box at the top or bottom of the thread can be edited to jump to a specific page numberIs there a way to jump to a particular page? ie if there are 200 pages how do I go to say page 85 without having to go back 2 pages at a time?

On the full version (PC or Laptop) not so easy to select specific pages to jump to but you can shrink the view window to force it into the mobile version and then select a page and jump to it and then expand the view again
Beaten to it
Hi there.
I'm hoping to post but just cannot find the tab on the general gassing page. I read a previous entry advising that on a mobile the tab is at the bottom of the page, but it doesn't seem to be on mine. (Android).
I'm probably just being thick? Advice warmly welcomed.
Flummoxed from Kenilworth.
