Affinity discount is easy to get.
It is, but it's all nerfed now - there's been no affinity price list since March.

Spoken with two dealers who've told me the same. At the moment it's a flat £5k, and they believe it'll soon be a thing of the past.

Oh no!

Especially puzzling if it is for the whole Fiat/Alfa Range, discount was needed on some of their more Turgid offerings.

Perhaps it's part of a Stellantis re-think?

We have Fleet terms with them too; but they seemed to be in a bit of a mess post brand re-shuffle fleet wise.

Yep ... I'm going to give it 12 months before looking into another Quadrifoglio, but I have a feeling it'll be significantly more expensive than the others I've had, unless Alfa really want to shift their halo products. I'd be tempted by a Stelvio, but once you've added some nice paint and some red calipers it's over £90k, and I can't see them discounting to BMW levels again.

Shame as although it's an excellent platform, it's still there or thereabouts the same car as it was in 2017, where for better or worse all their competitors have moved on.

I’m looking at this car Vs the new G87 M2. As I’m not going to track the car, more of a fruity weekend car for me, the wife and kids in the back.

What would you guys say are the adavantsges and disadvantages of the Gulia QV facelift over a G87 M2?

Also, I’ve heard that there is going to be a new Red colour released for the Gulia? Does anyone know what that is??

A new red? I've not heard anything of that. Etna Red / Rosso Etna was only recently introduced in order to bring the QV colour offering in line with the GTA/GTAm when they were released, with Competition Red / Rosso Competizione being dropped, and Alfa Red is obviously available which I doubt they'd drop it, so I'd question whether a third red is actually likely.

Although, it is Alfa, so strange decisions are common...

I can't comment on the QV vs the M2 though as I never tried the M2, however the QV seems to be more rare and I think is probably larger whether that's an advantage or not for you is for you to decide biggrin

Drawing the obvious comparisons to an M3, purely from a cosmetic point of view, the Alfa is such a lovely thing to look at vs the BMW with that grill and its sharp edges etc.

Comparing apples and oranges.

The associated rep of an m2 would put me off rightly or wrongly.

The Giulia doesn't look ugly and poor taste for a start....

Then I imagine it will be more or less just as sharp, feel slightly quicker too

Etna Rosso replaced Comp Red a couple of years ago.

Had Comp Red followed by Montreal Green, would go for Etna if was having another but Comp Red was my favourite.

Yeah I do like the styling of the Gulia and although I love the rear arches on the M2, im not a massive fan of the rest of it. It's a shame that the Gulia QV is so very similar (almost identical) in style to ALL the other variants of the Gulia, which doesn't really distinguish it that much from the rest.

In regards to the new red, Im sure I heard it being mentioned on a Rons Ride video? Maybe I am mistaken? I really want something special as a weekend car and i'm now down to these two options.....the kids fit fine in the back of both the G87 M2 and Gulia QV.....so just trying to decide between the two now.

In terms of colour choice, I think I would stick with a vibrant special red such as Rosso Etna.

Does anyone here know of any non-vulgar aftermarket kits that are available for the QV that may help to add a little more uniqiueness and aggressiveness to the car? I actually love the looks of the GTA! Is there anything out there to spice up the standard Gulia? Do Alfa offer any parts??

Also, one disadvange that I can see on the Alfa is the 'all or nothing' concept with the different mode settings. Do the new facelift models have the option to have the exhaust on loud in a non-race mode setting?

Not sure if good or not but:

There are also some small official accessories across this site:

Well Proven Exhaust Flap mod for race sound in any mode (or just plug the vacuum to the rear exhaust lines for always open):

Yes probably would definitely have to buy the exhaust flap mode for race sound in any mode, as would rather not drive around all day without any traction control! Ive been told by the dealership that all new facelift models come with akrapovic exhausts, do you have any experience with these and do they sound decent?

Also, is it possible to fit 20 inch wheels on the Gulia QV? I can't seem to find many pics of Qvs with aftermarket wheels set ups? Do you have any recommendations of wheels or do Alfa offer some?

I am a bit out of date with this stuff, there are some good Facebook groups whom can answer more of this.

The Akra Exhaust is not bad, not had one myself, all of these later cars have an OPF particulate filter so a marginally quieter than the pre 2019 ones.

Personally I wouldn't fit 20's as I think it would spoil the ride and handling balance. Some people did fit the 20" Stelvio versions, and there are a few aftermarket wheels.

Thanks! Im starting to lean more towards the Gulia QV over the G87 M2 again, I just hope that they have decent warranties available on them as I've heard of so many horror stories!

Would you recommend using lowering springs on the QV?

Which colour do you think looks the most special and 'pops' the most? Montreal Green or Etna Red??

I would have thought the M2 is a class below the Giulia, it certainly looks like it.

You think so? A class above the 'new' M2? Really? If the M2 is specced out similarly, then they are pretty similar price wise?? And the new M3 is a little more...especially the Xdrive version....therefore I would put the M2 on a par with the Gulia QV.

I used to be a BM fanboy, having owned quite a few including the E46 M3 but the new design ethos is very strange. The interior of the new M2 is amazing though.

I think trying to decide which one 'would feel the most special' and also look like a weekend sports car is the most difficult decision that I am trying to make at this moment in time before putting a deposit down on an order. The new M2 is definitely polarising in its looks but not timeless or classic....the boxy lego type design doesn't shout sexy. The Gulia QV is sexy but is it starting to look dated currently?

Anyone know what the extended warranties are like on the Gulia QV's ??

The M2 is the safe bet BUT the QV seems like the more desirable decision for a weekend car.

He is correct though, the M2 is the class below. The Giulia Quadrifoglio competitors are the RS4/5, C63 and M3&4.
The M2 is in basic terms a shortened M4, same engine but detuned and similar interior.

Maybe you are right, it’s just a shame that the M2’s interior (not just including tech but also the fit and finish) is way way superior.

Not sure about the engines and whole experience of both cars though. As I previously mentioned, I won’t be ever tracking the cars and mostly looking for a spirited weekend drive. The original review on this thread stated that the M2 ‘sounds’ better?? The S58 sounds better than a Ferrari derived engine??? Can anyone confirm this?

Also with the new facelift QV having the akrapovic exhaust as standard, surely the exhaust system would sound better than the M2??
