I might be the first to ask, but, on the basis that Renault are doing this to get the brand/experience "out there", what does everyone actually think of the car itself?

I've been very impressed, the car handles quite well IMO for its size - steering is a tad over-assisted but all modern cars are. Ride is comfortable, without being too 'wallowy' - engine pulls well for motorway usage, and I got 44mpg on mixed driving conditions.
Few toys to have a play with, e.g speed limiter, cruise, electronic hand brake, keycard.
Interior feels well put together, plastics look a bit cheap - but overall a nice place to be. Seats are supportive but comfortable, have decent side bolsters to hold you in.
