One of the brake ducts came adrift at speed, making a rather alarming noise as it clattered around the wheel arch.

Once I'd pulled over to check out what else had fallen off, smoke started billowing from the engine bay. I would have attempted to put out what I assumed was a fire with the standard fit fire extinguisher had it been fitted in the first place rolleyes Instead I stood there hopelessly until the smoke died down and it became obvious that there had been a leak of hydraulic fluid from what appears to be a bleed valve on the fluid reservoir.

I taught myself some new swearwords last night.

Yours,

Walrus.

There is a reason why OPC's mave such a bad name, and it not only to do with warranty issues.

You’re right it could be, but it's taking a serious amount of my imaginative capability to err, imagine it.

Ironically, the latest heart stopper isn't Byfleet's fault.

Anyone want a possessed GT3? I'll swap it for a Milkybar

Nice one!

By the way, a lot of M3 GT enthousiasts here but why was there no interest in the RHD GT Individual that was for sale for only 6k a few weeks back?
That seem fairly priced given their rep, it did have fairly high miles though (130k IIRC).

Jees 'Bo you are having a time of it. Must be a kick in the delicate area, especialy when you consider it's your "realistic" dream motor, it should be motoring heaven. Akin to meeting your idol who turns out to be a total pricktard, only, much worse.

My sympathies to you.

Ironically, it makes the E34 almost worthwhile as an ownership proposition.

Not the start to Pork ownership I imagined smile

Asbo - you need to get on the effingham blower to the effingham tts that sold you that effingham car and start counting down from ten whilst they effingham frantically search for the effingham tick-tock you've secreted in their effingham gin palace.

BOOM!!

Airborne OPC alert - plate glass and yukkas ahoy!

Effingham!

Ahem.

Listen 'Bo you should get a lot more than the "Keyring" for them leaving a hydraulic hose
loose!! But think of it this way, if the brake duct hadn't come loose you wouldn't have stopped
and that leak could've turned more serious!! and you could now be the owner of a very charred
GT3. I think your legal team needs to seek restitution a.s.a.p.

Oh! BTW when everythings sorted flog Lucifers car and buy yourself a car chat'll be cheap to run
such as an eleven owner 150,000 mile BMW //M5 wink;);)

Could be a good thing seeing how there's all of 1 picture of the car and the seller has no feedback or history. At least he's left a contact number hehe
"please note this car is for sale else where" - anyone seen it else where? Or know of the car?
