As a cyclist who usually defends these people, can I just say this guy is a bit of a knob. If you want a more balanced view of the dangers highlighted by helmet cams, look up magnatom or bentmikey on youtube.
Agree with this, dont judge us all by the actions of one, who looks like he has some anger issues.

Cyclists often seem to be on the edge of rage. I wonder if they have been filled with righteousness what with all the eco BS we have been fed in the last few years, or maybe it's just the additional shots adrenaline you get from exercise (doctor comments?). I wonder though, whether the really stroppy ones, the racers, may be a bit steroided up.

If you're cycling hard then yes, you're running on adrenaline. If someone does something stupid around you then yes, you're likely to react to it. If a car passes too close at speed a "You fker" is the least you should expect... Remember, a ton plus of metal passing within a couple of inches of your right arm is pretty fking scary. What might seem like nothing from the warmth and comfort of a car seat seems very different when you're the one sat on the bike. yes

My thoughts on it are that if you are driving a vehicle around cyclists/motorcyclists without due care and attention, you are no better than someone swinging a baseball bat around in a public area with a blindfold on. In fact, that is probably less likely to cause death or life-changing injuries...
I think we've pretty much got the same point of view, the only point I'm trying to make is that a driver who is inattentive enough not to spot you is difficult to identify to shout at until you're on their bonnet

In this thread, I can agree with you without reservation.

This whole drivers Vs: cyclists thing is such a load of st. We're all PEOPLE - it should be about courtesy and safety regardless of what you're in/on.

Some tt on a bike yelling and mouthing off at every tt he sees in a car committing the slightest legal infraction is still just another fking tt and no better than the people he's videoing and bhing about.

(Says the person who owns and uses both a car and a bicycle).

Roads aren't made for cyclists, therefore they should doff their cycling caps every time a motorised driver passes them by, then all parties will be happy.

Would you think that if you saw a pedestrian jogging down the M1?

I've "disliked" every video he's posted. I urge you to do the same.

I laugh at his stupidity. Complete hypocritical cycling tosser furious

I'm one of the 'good' drivers, giving our lycra friends plenty of room (and plenty of TDI soot on my pass!). I'm perfectly chilled when driving, I'll most likely live a long life.

Mr Cyclist on YT vids... He'll probably succumb to a heart attack through stress, or succumb to being pavement-pizza at the hands of an unhinged driver.

Doesn't matter how right you think you are (keywords: "think", "you", and "are".), don't pick a fight with something bigger/heavier/faster than yourself. You will lose.

He is an idiot but how many of you have seen your friends killed by a ton of metal ploughing through them.

The M1 is a motorway, for motorised vehicles only. Roads are for everyone, as stated.

A lot of the previous stuff's wrong to be fair. CCTV isn't inadmissible just because there's no sign stating it's recording. In fact, it's bloody good evidence.

What a hypocritical prick. One day he will say something to the wrong person and get knocked out
Please let it be me.
No, please let it be another cyclist. The man is obviously a halfwit, out looking for trouble. We cyclists are NOT all the same. Some of us also drive, and love our cars and driving just as much as we are passionate about cycling. Maybe he was bullied as a child, or perhaps he has no testicles?

Pedants to the left of me, pedants to the right, here I am, stuck in the middle .......
