Driving the girliest car, possibly in the world, I can only recall somewhat bullying behaviour twice - once came from an old defender during the snow which better suited the conditions and the other was somebody in a CRV who went utterly mental and started swerving into the lane and shouting with fair enthusiasm; you might have assumed I'd shagged his other half up the dirt track and whiped off on his face, after seeing the anger he seemed to have.

I'll grant I often assert myself as I would on the bike and make sure I'm seen but if an mx5 avoids all but very unlucky encounters I can't see other cars faring any worse... It's not as if there exists much else that is less threatening.

Offshore at the moment so I don't have a picture to post but I nominate my old sweetheart, the Galant VR-4. (I'd be ever so grateful if some kind soul could do the decent thing and post a picture of one looking mean).

My interpretation of Proper Road Presence, would be the one car that would suggest in a strong polite manner to the Audi S-line in the outside line to “move to the left” with out being “flashy”

This seems to clear the outside lane quite nicely...

How has this thread gone on for so long without the two most obvious choices? Have either of these, no one will mess with you;

I don't spend much time in the fast lane of motorways, but on A and B roads most people move over for this:

The original Speed 12 had even more presence than the Cerbera Speed 12. Are any of the Speed 12 race cars still kicking about?

Ah, the mythical Cerbera Speed 12. If I ever saw W112BHG gracing our roads, I'd probably pull over and have a [delboy] connery [/delboy].

Its just saying : "Get the fk out of my fking way."
Where is it now? Last I heard of it was a few years back. Would be stunning to see!
