Oh no the car won't be touched. Might get covered in grass though when we get the front lawns cut wink Do hope the bin lorry can squeeze past without scraping the side of the car. Maybe I'll ask the owner when he returns to contribute to having the indentations his tyres have left in the freshly laid tarmac repaired biggrin

That's posted as a joke isn't it?
No. The bonnet of the van is through the hedge. Driver came charging in and the hedge 'stopped' him.

Maybe you missed that bit ?

Try the subtle approach! Residents to club together to buy and fit a set of locking wheel nuts. Then throw away the key!

llantrisant yesterday

well if maybe they don;t have very good lock making it hard to turn into a space, or maybe it doesn't have a reverse gear and he had to push it out of the space

Was it the friend of a neighbour, or some unknown arsewipe?

Nobody knows who's car it is. So at the moment an unknown arsewipe.

Private Road which we have just paid to be resurfaced so yes we do own the road outside our houses.

GV10FJO thanks for parking you fat 4x4 outside for over a week and blocking half the road. Kindly park at the airport car park next time you skinflint.

If it's more than one, things will get interesting when he eventually returns to collect it.

AIUI, if a car is causing an obstruction or is parked dangerously on private land, it may be moved to a more appropriate location at no charge to the owner.

Hard to see from the photo, but it is parked diagonally a bit, so that it actually encroaches on two disabled spaces. Ironically, I took it from a hand control car that isn't parked in a disabled space as I don't have a blue badge. The guy did look slightly guilty as he saw me maneuvering my knackered leg into the seat...

I'm sure a lot of birds would love to take a seat on the roof and bonnet and eat some feed that was mysteriously left on the car

GV10FJO is a "HYBRID ELECTRIC" according to the DVLA.

May be we should provide a free charging point as well as free parking rolleyes

The local topcat is taking an interest. May be next time he's sitting on the bonnet a little spray down the air vents will remind the owner of his stay biggrin

...or keep setting the alarm off so the batteries are completely dead. Easiest way to write one of those things off.

In his defence, he'd parked as far away from the throng as it is possible to get in Tesco Newbury's car park. The unpalatable truth is that parking spaces have become too small.
Just looking at that, how would you use the corner space? If they were all used it would be blocked in.

Looks like the lane divider of the car park road.

In fact I was so bored a moment ago that I looked it up on Bing maps, I'm guessing but I've ringed what looks to me like the most likely spot:

As an aside, I find it absolutely amazing that looking something up like that is even possible...

Need to revisit the map....the Merc has a hedge to it's left, there's no hedge where you ringed....Sorry ;-)
