Whilst perusing the XJR classifieds I found this.

I think a 4 door convertible/cabrio is a great idea in principle, in reality, maybe not so much.
It's not your Barryboys Jap-tat spoiler-special but I'm torn. Half of me thinks it's f
king shocking, the other half thinks respraying it black and driving it to Europe would be a blast.

the more I look at it, the more I think I like it...
You'd have to be sure it was a really good fit for adequate wind noise suppression and weatherproofing. ![](http://cdn.images.pistonheads.com/aimg/1657/1657895-1.jpg)

£15k for a 740 from 1998 with one of the worst interiors I've seen. Bargain.

What a great find. Brilliant car, tidy looking obviously well looked after until you open the door and the interior had been re-trimed by a colour blind playboy bunnie and it's priced £10,000 more than anyone would pay. £15k for a 740 from 1998 with one of the worst interiors I've seen. Bargain.

MODS - This Couger has somehow has escaped the wrath of the 'Boring Cars' section of the classifieds. Can someone please move it in there?
Thankyou please.
Definitely not in this condition.
However, I do have a bit of a soft spot for the Ford Couger, especially in the spec that I previously mentioned.
I just don't know why this particular Couger is so pricey given that you can buy a perfectly standard one alot cheaper with lower miles?
Guess 2K is the going rate for TAT...

I don't know much about these things but aren't speakers meant to face into the car rather than the glovebox?

47,000 quid at the time, seems like even more spent if it is that one
for sale for 6 grand, and hopeful at that

These people really ought to get CVs into the major manufacturers pronto as there's some engineering genius going on there to get gains like that
![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
It's a nail & an ugly one at that. Still, good entertainment for the rest of the world.
