Got back to my car the other day to find another next to it, made me smile (ok, mines a 240 and the other was a 235 but close enough - the other owner obviously thought so).

Yesterday was my first time on PH in ages - pleased to see people still contributing to this!

Does same make count?
Following a break at some services in Belgium (if memory serves) came back to this scene.

A few years ago my Mother parked her red 1 series unknowingly near another red 1 series. My Dad got a phone call from my Mum that evening, complaining that she couldn’t get into her car. My Dad was not happy when he arrived at the car park, telling her she was trying to get into the wrong red 1 series.

Collecting my Saab from a dealer after a service and I noticed a woman trying her remote and key in all the door locks without success. I asked her what she was doing with my car and she replied that it was her car! I had a 3 door 900 in silver and she had a 5 door in silver. My reg was N918 and hers was N916. biggrin

Had a strange contractor at work who in conversation noted that I had a MINI Clubman and he had a Cooper S. He said we should park next to each other in the car park.... [OK, whatever floats your boat]. Sure enough, next day, he was parked next to me, and the day after, and the day after that. So I started looking for parking spaces where he could park next to me, but he would put his car directly in the next lane behind mine.

Parking next to the same model was all fun and games, until we discovered it’s the behaviour of stalkers. eek

Visiting Tarr Steps in Somerset one summer holiday as a kid, we returned to the car park to see my parent’s white 405 poking its bum out of its space, first 4 characters of its registration presenting nicely, as we had left it.

But it wouldn’t unlock.

Repeatedly.

Until we realised we were actually 4 cars further along! M513 ### made a friend! hehe

Not quite next to but you get the idea. In fact I went to the wrong car after finishing the weekly shop at Tesco's and had to check the number plates.

Haha I do this when I can, been a while since having the Burgundy Punto though!

This type is my favourite specifically because they’re not special editions etc they’re just regular mundane cars. I like it.

Good guess, it's a Hyundai Ioniq 5.

We've done 5,500 miles in 3 months. It sits alongside my 2 petrol cars and was procured for the company car tax benefits.
We love it, simply...
