This has been abandoned on a road in South London on one of my dog walking routes since September time. It's actually looking shabbier in real life than in the pic

I'd never envisage an SD1 as a drug dealer... More a big fat policeman on an undercover steakout.
What if said policeman was a vegetarian? Or is that why he's undercover, to hide it from his missus?

Found an MG enthusiast saving for a rainy day.

Two V6 ZSs, along with a V8 ZT 260 (a very early one). Plus one under the covers (unknown) and an actively used TF.

Three abandoned silver MGs, along with a roadworthy TF. The ZT was/is the V8 version!

Also in London this BMW has been here for well over a year: https://goo.gl/maps/tTHq4MehCBFS9hrr7

The tracked equivalent of a puncture.

MOT expired in 2016, 2004 model e8ekp.

Must be worth a good 30k, the plate is probably a bit valuable too.

Another dog walk special. It's taxed and MOT'd till December but it hasn't moved in months

Sticking with the mouldering S Class theme, this one is a couple of streets away. It comes up as a 260E on the .gov.uk website and hasn't been used in years

The tax & MOT have not long run out (1st April & 13th March respectively) so I'm not sure I'd say it's abandoned just yet. Probably didn't get around to MOTing it pre-lockdown. No MOT means no tax.

It hasn't turned a wheel since the beginning of September

Well, that's a W126 S Class, not a 260E so someone's typed the wrong data in at the MOT station. Sad - that shape of S Class was possibly Merc's finest hour in the last 40 years.

Keeping on the theme of mouldy Mercs....an S500 - some well heeled CEO would have been wafting about in that a decade ago. Terrible wheels, saggy suspension, bad tints, what an ignominious end.

It's a 260SE imported to the UK when it was a year old. As the 260SE wasn't a model available in the UK, the highly skilled DVLA employee tasked with data input that day probably scrolled down a list and found "260E" and thought "that'll do".

Long wheelbase too. That'd have been some serious money when it was new.

Most of them looked tired and dated by the time they were 6, with rust breaking through, yellowing headlights, and shabby rubber trim.

More ordinary than some of the cars posted here - but still surprising to me. Seems like the best part of £10k been parked up at least 2 and a half years.

Noticed it a few times when walking past and got curious. Y517 UOL. Passed its last MOT so unsure why it’s just stopped being used. Tyres look a bit flat and needs a good clean. Wonder why it’s not in the garage!
