My flat fronted RS2000. It's like driving a slice of happiness, almost everyone loves it and people seem delighted to see it driven quickly!

This gets positive attention. Very rare for someone not to comment at petrol stops.
That looks stunning,is it standard looks to be running a bit high ,maybe used to seeing so many dragging their arses around…love
Yes, the rear is near enough proper height. Maybe a bit high at the front as I've struggled to find someone who can do the tracking properly. The self levelling suspension works and as you say many of them sag due to that (or the springs) failing. A lot have had the SLS replaced with normal shocks which is a shame as the SLS is great when working and isn't complicated despite what a lot of experts like to tell people.

Well, the 2 cars in our household are a mixed bag of attention. My Kia used to have a few looks and comments a few years ago, but think as Kia have grown as a brand and the Stinger came out. The ProCeed GT just became a more common car, on which you'll see a fair few on the roads these days.

The Abarth still gets some looks, mostly when you start it up and the Akrapovic exhaust comes to life. You get the odd person having a good nosey whilst driving near them. Probably wondering why this Fiat 500 sounds the way it does.
Do get the most attention from Abarth enthusiasts due to not many 659 Rivale's on the UK roads. (we've still yet to see one).

Love this. I always smile when I see an Abarth and they do really sound naughty. I had a 595 for a while (my wife did and I drove it loads) and they are great fun. Love the two tone.

I am lucky enough to drive this 450SLC which gets loads of attention, all of it good-natured.

My favorite MB of all time: you bet!

GT perfection, and maybe a candidate for a ME article?
It's a great GT. I've likened it to driving a sofa...I have no idea whatsoever is happening on the road beneath me and just point it from horizon to horizon, via petrol stations...

I do as well! Especially the lime green ones.

As with the R107 - slightly shorter wheelbase - flowing with the bodymass takes some skill but quick driving on the rurals can be done!

Yeah, these little things have a certain element of fun that could make me see past their shortcomings. Ideal car for local use and having a laugh in.

Legacy Tuned by STI. Zero attention whatsoever. Perfect. This was cemented the other day when a "car guy" I know said "what you pay for that, about 4 Grand". I am sure, however, that 0.001% of the population might be aware of what it is.

MX5 gets a lot of attention from the younger generation. Especially young kids. I heard one the other day say "mummy look at the old car". Is 2005 that old? Lol.

I think some of the cars on here grabbing attention is probably in the wishful thinking of the owners.

In 1978 I bought my first new car, a Mini 1000. It was black with Wolfrace wheels that it really didn't need, but by 'eck it looked good. For our first trip, my wife and I went shopping. We arrived at the shops without attracting any attraction but on the way back, driving slowly along a congested high street, people laughed, waved and pointed.

smile

Mrs C had left her handbag on the roof.

Yeah, smiles all round. Apart from long journey's. Don't think i've ever smiled after a long run, more like had my bones shaken to death.

I really like that. I need to go and see if I fit in one, but I'm very tempted by the Sport and that's a great colour.

Adrenaline Green i think it's called, do look really nice. We nearly bought a yellow 595 comp, before getting the Rivale. So many colour options on the Abarth's and nearly all of them look good.

Even our previous basic 145bhp 59 plate Abarth sounded nice the standard exhaust. Then to have the Monza and Akrapovic exhausts is another big step up in the sound.
Think the small nature of the car, pulls the two tone of really nicely.

The roof line is really high so most people should be fine. By my reckoning one of -if not- the last sub-1000kg fun hatches, remarkably it's lighter than an Abarth or Up GTi despite the extra size and room. Suzuki also understated the typical standard bhp by at least 10% for reasons unknown.
