Underneath the large size price of £20K it has in small print , "£10K above average" .

That's a lot of miles for a lot of money .

The ones that do get exported are bought directly from the Auctions..? This Dealer has already changed it to retail spec and prepared it so taken the margin out of it to make it worthwhile to export.
This dealer is only a few miles from me, they get quite a bit of their stock from the Brightwells Auction in Leominster, U've seen their transported their several times. They sell ex council and police stuff off every week, cut out the middle man if you're brave. smile

https://www.brightwells.com/

Since Covid, they have stuck to timed auctions for vehicles and classic car auctions, this week's catalogue under 'cars' will appear in a day or two.

That is a nice Saab, I'd love to have one like that, but yes, that is well overpriced.

And an add with 20 pictures but not a single one of the interior. You’d think it’d be lovely in there after only 34,000 miles, too!

I like a C6, and its a nice to see a petrol one. But there's too many digits in the price for me.

I am with you. Petrol ones are rare but the price is just stupid. Also, I always get annoyed by descriptions of unmarked interiors in used cars - this one is on 80k miles…

The Merc CLS I have got fixated on locally thats been for sale since 2021 has had a price drop, from £6250 to £5950 !

Now that's going to make all the difference now its three years older, Ulez has come in and a cost of living crisis has arrived, there are some newer model ones for that now.

I love the C6 and would love to own a petrol one but not at that kind of money!! Rare but nobody cares.... Realistically that car is worth £5k at a push to me.

Yes I agree as I love a C6 too but that's stupid money. It's £10k over priced or I'm just too far from reality myself

If you want to see how much of a pain owning a C6 can be have a look at UpnDown on youtube. Lovely cars but a serious pain to work on and poor parts availability. Realistically they're worth buttons.

Apologies for the thread drift but I couldn't find a "seriously mental advert" thread.

Bloke on AT selling his DB11. Opens his ad description with this:

And finishes with this suggesting that, far from selling his car he'd actually like to buy another identical one laugh

Am.....not so sure on this one. They were in big demand at the time, and had/have quite the following an awful lot of people will be looking back on them with rose tinted glasses and dare I say it, its only £20k which to some isn't a whole pile these days especially if its a decent one.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't pay it.

I'm with you on this - it's an SR in very good condition. There are nostalgic 50-somethings with money that will go for this.

PH ran an article on a 17k one (albeit later model) in 2021 https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/v...

I wouldn't pay it either but don't think it's "seriously" overpriced in the current market.

no doubt someone will tell me its worth the money, but this seems a mental price for a jimny, no matter what has been done to it. I'm a big fan of a modifed Jimny, but not like this
