I had one as a snotter years ago and only paid about £1700 back then. It was lethargic, heavy and wallowed through bends. That said, it was 100% reliable and as a daily stter had a huge boot and could squeeze in 4 adults.

Exactly. I never really like these cars, but as you say, a car for under £600 with a yrs MOT you can't go much wrong.
