Robbie Williams on the M4 after the 2005 Cup Final between United and Arsenal in Cardiff.
He was sitting in the back of a Roller (i think) with the number plate 'ROBBIE' or something like that.
They were doing well over a ton when they passed us.
-Definately not him.. That roller belonged to a London boy who has since gone AWOL
Jason Dodd ex-captain of Southampton in a 330d saloon , he was checking out my 330 Cab
-
Dennis Bergkamp during the time he played at Arsenal , back in Holland near where his wife lives - he was in a Merc 500 or 600 SEL

Does he still have his Ferrari, IIRC he had the plate MAG1C on it...
he clearly moves the plate around:

I saw Mr Daniels on the M40 many years ago in a Bentley with the MAG1C plate on. he clearly moves the plate around:

Oh, and Prince Charles driving one of his classic Aston's in Wokingham, also many years ago.
Saw a black Ferrari California heading south on the M3 over Christmas with the number plate 1 OFF. Surely someone famous!
I don't get out much these days!

Blackie Lawless from W.A.S.P. (a bit of an obscure one, I know, but I was a big fan at the time and still am) - red Vauxhall Cavalier (if you know who this is, I know how unlikely that seems too!) in Sutton Valence, I'm guessing on his way to Eagle E-Type who used to be based near there, where he had his three E-Types fettled.
Awesome!Mine all seem to be in petrol stations...
Murray Walker in a petrol station in Buckingham filling up an Escort Cosworth and Paul Daniels and Debbie Magee in a Mk2 RX7 in a motorway petrol station.
The best one was when I worked in an old fashioned petrol station where I had to go out and fill the customers cars up. Sat in my little hut I could just hear the scream of an engine as the driver downshifted, hard on the brakes and then the flat nose of a bright red Esprit Turbo came roaring onto the forecourt still carrying so much speed I was sure it was coming straight through the my little hut! It stopped neatly next to the pump closest to me and out jumped Mika Hakkinen - to be fair I didn't know it was him until I saw his name on the credit card!
I'll never forget the scream of that engine!

I keep getting reminded of people watching this thread. A couple of years ago i popped into a petrol station close to work as i walked in, a man walked out carrying a coffee and jumped into a golf diesel. " did you see who that was "asked the man behind the counter? " was Damon Hill" Murray Walker in a petrol station in Buckingham filling up an Escort Cosworth and Paul Daniels and Debbie Magee in a Mk2 RX7 in a motorway petrol station.

dragons den's James Caan - JC1 - Roller
Dragons Den's Theo Paphitis - R4Man or RYM4N - Maybach
I would be surprised if Caan has got his hands on JC 1 as, according to the owner quite recently, 'he never, ever, ever will whilst I have a breath in my body'Dragons Den's Theo Paphitis - R4Man or RYM4N - Maybach
Also Alan Sugar - Roller, Reg AMS something. Again noticed the number plate first.
I was based in Wardour Steet in Soho for a while and saw masses of famous people walking around at lunch times.

Dickson Etuhu (kind of famous - plays for Fulham FC for the benefit of non-footballing types) in a 'pimped' Audi Q7 on Putney High Street more times than I care to remember.
Oh dear. As a Fulham fan of many years suffering, I had thought better of Big Dickson. Sylvain Legwinski used to turn up to the Cottage in a very battered old Golf, MK1 I think. The most down to earth footballer there has ever been, well maybe apart from Moritz Volz who used to turn up on a folding bike. To give credit to an ex-Spurs player (*mini sicks in mouth*), Jurgen Klinsmann used to drive a 1970s Beetle when he was in London.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
