In my F250, people get out of the way
In my Z06, they want to get in your way
In my '32 Deuce, they point and stare
In my '41 Chevy, they point and laugh

Something for everyone there. And overmore, I don't care what others think, I love 'em all equally.

My Jag XJ8 (X308) has received only positive comments from bystanders.

My Merc C Class slipped under the radar and my Volvo 240 Saloon only attracted attention probably due to it being old but not yet really a classic.

My Evo VI attracted nob behaviour, from those in infiniately more expensive/desirable cars.

The Supra gets double takes from 25 - 35 year olds, looks of wonder from kids and confused looks from the w(s)hite goods society.

When I had the 19" CSL wheels on the BMW it got a little attention for the wrong reasons, so these were removed and it's now back to the original 18" MV3s and now no one gives it a 2nd look, which is what I like about it.

My Borat V5 gets absolutely zero attention at all which is excellent, it can be left anywhere and will still be there as I left it when I come back

My VR6 Highline doesn't get much attention either, it might once it's had the small rusty bits repaired, and the wheels refinished as it will then be a mint rust free original example, of which there are very very few left.

My Caterhan gets lots of positive attention, lots of waves and smiles, and little children stop their mums and dads to point at us going by.

It's normally get people looking at it very closely when I leave it parked up, and most people laugh at the fact that I have the steering wheel in my back pack too!

I don't thing I have ever filled it up at a petrol station without the other drivers asking me about the engine or how fast it is either!

Can I ask why your chevy towtruck and the F250 both have comically small wheels for the size of vehicle?

When In the Land rover I get very polarised opinions - people who are mostly my peers think its a rickety old shed. I get the usual "planet killer" / What do you need a 4x4 for? crap from a broad spectrum of backgrounds. But the majority of people, especially those who know Land Rovers or have been in one/seen one on a farm/ a relative has one, love its classic charm and think its a fantastic old bus thats in lovely condition for its age.

In the few months I've had the traction engine, most of the comments have been "what on earth do you do with it?" - errrr shows and rallies just like anyone else with vintage machinery. usually followed by "oh, is that it? how do you sit on it?" and "how much??" when I show them its a 1/4 size and tell them it cost £5k - would you like to hear how much a full size one costs? or perhaps suggest where I could keep one? rage

The '41 photo is quite old. I realised the wheels were too small, so we changed the axle last year and put some 12" x 15"s on. I like the front ones; they keep the front nice and low.

Allthough the F250 ones look small, they're actually 20"s. The truck's had a 2" lift. Wheels (or tyres) much bigger would mess with the gear ratios, and I'd rather keep it road friendly.

7 Series, it's a big German saloon so not loads of attention but people generally get out of the way. Oh and people always want to travel in the back 'cos it's like a limo'...

The VW California - people come up to us almost every time we park to ask about it.

The BM - most people have no idea it's pushing 300bhp. Which is how I like it. Had a few comments about the terra dakota leather interior - all positive.
