I try hard to fllow this mantra smile
I tried hard to follow a mantra once.

Little did I know that it was being driven by Jimmy Macrae on his way to the next stage on the Circuit of Ireland Rally!

Luckily I saw the funny side of it... [/Viz letter]

Don't you love it though when someone pulls out in front of you and instead of braking you are able to just overtake them without even changing speed?

Bonus points if they then get angry at you.

I pass an A road T-junction on my right on the way to work and people frequently pull out on me. Just occasionally I can just sweep past them and for some reason they don't like it. One bloke actually rang up and complained. I was standing in the office at the time and I could hear my manager taking the call:

"So you pulled out in front of him and he overtook you? <pause> And how fast was he going? <pause> About 50 mph? <pause> So what exactly are you saying that he did wrong? <pause> OK, I'll tell him not to do it again."
Yes it's weird this, they seem to blame you for their own incompetence. Maybe they are labour or libdem voters?

I was doing about 25mph in town the other day and someone looked at me and decided to pull out of a side turn. After a little way of them sitting at 20mph I drove around them and speeded up to 30 (the limit). So they decide to speed up and sit a couple of feet behind me, and then try to outgun me at the next set of lights. They went a different way after that but I do wonder how many saddos just go looking for people to annoy.

Some road users seem to get a thrill out of controlling other people's driving.

Don't get it myself.
