I do hope Bentley dosent lose its way with this, it has made some truly fantastic cars over the past 10 years or so, and despite the footballer associations i actually think a 2005ish conti gt in a subtle color looks very smart now.

take that concept tone it down by about 10 and they may have something, still wont touch the Range Rover tho that's just pure class.

Looks like some sort of Chinese rip-off of a range rover with added Chinese ugliness! Absolutely hideous!

Can somebody at PH please hand the link over to whoever is running the Bentley stand to allow them to use it in their decision making process on whether to build the thing or not please?

Hastily photoshopped out the horrid lower lights, added smaller ones inboard, changed wheels to less minging design, removed extra grille.

Getting there I think, but still far from pretty.
Ironically that looks MUCH more like a Tuareg<sp?) which has had Bentley headlights added to it...

I think it's beyond saving tbh - but Bentleys core customers are now football players and 'celebrities' who appear to have zero taste in anything so perhaps they'll like it...

I think this photoshop looks slightly better:

This would have been perfect a few years ago.

This is closer. Swap the lights so the larger ones are on the inside and it could fit in with the current family face.

Now this is the practical Bentley that's being showcased that I would have, not that monstrosity

Only two bits I don't like are; the design of the lights and the wheels they have chosen, otherwise its fine and quite handsome. I know this post will be a bit lost in all the dislike and vomiting smilies, but I thought I would add my 2p.

I'll buck the trend here, I think it looks amazing. I'd love one. Not totally keen on the lower jet engine-alike vents or whatever they are, but overall it's very nice.
I'm in agreement, it looks far more interesting than any current super-size 4x4s
Sorry chaps, missed these two from my post earlier. I agree with you. Seems like everybody else on here is doing exactly as Dan asked them to do . . . .

Yes, that's why I don't like it. 'cos Dan told me not to.

There is a certain hint of irony in accusing people of not being individuals for not agreeing with you.

It looks like one of those Chinese knock offs, like the rip off Roller they've done. Except there is nothing that exists hideous enough to rip off that would result in this.

I mean, even putting a half-decent set of wheels on it would transform into just 'fking ugly'

As it, an utter monstrosity.

I rated this 5 but only by mistake - it makes the SsanYong Musso look elegant. Ettore Bugatti said Bentley made the fastest lorries in the world but they don't have to prove it

This has massively undermined and damaged the brand - how can a company that produced the S1 Continental and the 4.5 Blower produce such a heap of Tut

It's an appalling abomination - throw it in Lake Geneva NOW!!!!!!!!

Much better.
Although I think that just looks like a Range Rover with a mask on.

Don't worry about it, the average is so low anyway it wouldn't make any difference.

Er, Bentley is owned by VW.

Rolls is owned by BMW.

It's quite dissappointing to see this really.

Bentley is one of those great names from the past that has through various means managed to endure.
The sales success of recent years has been greatly contributed to by the company's well heeled owners.

Now, in pursuit of the buck, those same well heeled owners have pushed the company image over the edge of a cliff I think.

Between this and the recent Conti editions with stripes etc the image that appealed so much about the marque has been diluted almost to a point of no return.

When I was a kid the Bentley name meant something now it's image just feels tacky.

I may never be able to afford to buy one but I still feel it's an awful shame to see such a great name being torn asunder like this.
