No hope.

Unless you do the mod yourself. Do start a thread when you give it a go.

Love the front and side, just can't stand the fussy exhaust detailing and lower section of bumper. Round tailpipes look best.

Still not sure about the Jimmy Durante schnoz at the front, and the slitty windscreen. The rear quarters make for a better proportioned car than it's 4 door cousin, though.

The rear lower section won't look like that when the production model hits the road. It's BMW's standard mo, lightly dramatised concept before we see the real thing.

I'm surprised people like this!? BMW haven't made a good looking car since the E46 M3 and the E36 in general.

yes

Looks too much "trying to hard" imho. Most of the most beautiful cars have simple lines and very little "creases". This one is just an overload imho.

The number plate states that this is the 4 series coupe, so are we right to presume that there is also a 4 series gran coupe, wagon and convertible coming too?

I know there is supposed to be family similarities within a brand, but does this 4-series not look extremely similar to the 6-series? Cant wait to see it in the flesh...

It is lovely. clap

It's fussy and perhaps a little chintzy but that par for the course for modern car design isn't it, I find I have to adjust my tastes to compensate for it. I think this is an attractive car - by todays standards.

I think that you need creases to breaks things up a bit, modern cars are so big and bulky that a smooth shape car just make them look blobby.

Definitely a cab; probably a saloon; I'd be surprised to see an estate, though I suppose it's possible.

hehe

ETA: Actually I think a proper shooting break, a two-door 2+2 with a big estate style boot, would be quite a good addition to the 3/4-series range.

I think I must be the only person in the world who just doesn't see the point of a two door estate. So you need to carry loads of stuff but you don't really need access to the rear seats? Almost as pointless as a 2 seater hatchback wink

I was thinking of it more as a 2+2 coupe with a decent sized boot.

confused Isn't that exactly what the 3 series coupé is?

You misunderstand what I meant by "decent sized". I meant something you can shove a fridge freezer in if you need to; or that you can easily carry a couple of Great Danes around in.

I'm sure plenty of people need more luggage capacity than a saloon can offer without needing four full-sized seats.
